Frank Lloyd Wright’s
Southwestern Pennsylvania
Skyline Ink had the great honor of creating photorealistic animations for unrealized Frank Lloyd Wright designs for a joint exhibit by Fallingwater and The Westmoreland Museum of American Art. Collaboration and research began in 2019, and after pandemic scheduling delays and many production hours, the exhibits opened nearly five years later in October of 2023. Animations for the Westmoreland exhibit featured three Pittsburgh projects and two projects for the property surrounding Fallingwater. A largescale tri-screen presentation explored the Pittsburgh projects with music composed and conducted by Daniel May, performed by the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, and adapted from “My Father’s House” (Zero Ted Music, BMI), with music coordination by MCG Jazz and Marty Ashby.
The exhibit then traveled to the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. where it opened in April of 2024 and remains through March 17, 2025.
